Our Example in the Wild

Over the past week and a half, a lot of my time - rather, most of my time - has been spent taking our new Web site, Search Engine Optics, from a Photoshop design comp to a fully functional Web presence.

During the course of this work, I’ve been continuously blogging on Fast Company (Demystifying the Web), ITKnowledgeExchange (Taming the Wild Wild Web), and cosmeticSEO.com. The insiprations for many of those entries have been the problems I’ve faced, solutions I’ve found, or clever tips I’ve come up with to make the development process easier for myself. {Full Entry}

Whenever I watch The View I am reminded how much I enjoy Ernest Hemingway.

For those of you who do not understand this, read Hemingway.

Now, I don’t regularly watch The View, but today they had a feature about Plastic Surgery in America, etc., etc., etc. - so I intended to take a peek at this segment to hopefully spark some creative ideas for the cosmeticSEO blog.

Creating a Universe: Day -15.5

So, I’m about two weeks out on beginning an exciting new personal project. As of now, there is no possible way I can fit it into my schedule. Working roughly sixteen hours a day leaves me with little enough time to sleep, eat and shit as it is.

But… that’s looking at things logically.

No, this new project will have to look at everything from an utterly improbable and unreasonable perspective. I am no longer dealing with data in the bounds that I know and love.

I wish I can speak of the details of it here. But, no. Too many already know.

It is time to become the carrot, the horse and the stick; the coachman, the whip and the wayward star that leads you on ’til morning.
